Another starving quilter project

For a while now I have been needing to new kitchen hot-pads and mits.

My old ones were well past their natural beauty .... full of grease spots, burned and frayed  edges
...not to mention they were a crazy assortment of mismatched holiday themes and colors.  UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!

I have made a beautiful new set

They match my everyday dishes!

These are made from a heavy denim and have heat-proof silicon pad on the inside. I've had these silicon  hot pads and never used them because they are slippery and I was always afriad of burning myself  if I did use them. So voila! new beautiful useful and non-slippery heat resistant kitchen hot pads!

  1. Really pretty potholders. My mom used to send me new ones every year, since her passing,I guess I will have to make them on my own! Love that you matched your dishes.
